The latest Lucy story from Stephanie...
Many moons ago -- when I was still in elementary school -- our family had a white toy poodle named Peppy (who hated me, btw). When he died, our family had a little service for him and buried him in our backyard.
When our dear Rooben died on Wednesday, May 7, our neighbor Leslie Harold (age 6) gave Lola and Lucy two identical stuffed animals -- white poodles.
When Juliet asked Lucy what the name of her poodle was, she said Peppy (in case you're wondering, I've never mentioned Peppy our poodle to either of the girls....).
I thought that was kinda freaky, so I wrote to tell my sister about it. and she wrote back:
Okay, my mouth just hit the floor and I have chills. You are not going to believe this…But this makes it even more freaky:
As I was going to sleep the night Rooben died, I was wondering why May 7th had such a huge meaning to me. and without hesitation, I realized that May 7th is also the day Peppy died.
